Klub of Year

We will be having 6 places. There is a banner for each place that you will be able to hang at your klub for the next year. .

AWARD DEADLINES: BIBLE READING: Friday, Feb. 12, 2010
MEMORY AWARD: Sunday, Feb. 20, 2010
ALL OTHER AWARDS: Thursday, Feb. 27, 2010.

Each child is challenged to be consistent in his/her attendance. A klubber will receive
this award if they miss 5 or less times for the year. This award will end the on Feb. 27.
(Any klub that starts late must count each week late as a miss for their klubbers.)
Any klubber who misses 2 or less times will earn extra points for his/her klub.
Theaward will be a button that the klubber may wear to the Rally. It will indicate the
number of consecutive years they have received the Good Attendance Award. Those who
have earned this award for 5 consecutive years will receive a MEDAL at the Rally.

Klubbers will receive points for their klub for each chapter they read. They will be reading from the book of Exodus and Deuteronomy. They will be reading chapters 13,14,

15,16,17,18,19, & 20 from Exodus and chapters 6 and 31 from Deuteronomy. The chapters are divided into 4 Bible Reading Sets. Children in grades K & 1 ONLY have to do Sets 1 & 2. Grades 2 & 3 do Sets 1, 2 & 3.They may do all 4 for extra points. Each one who finishes this award will receive a TROPHY at the last klub.

. Deadline for this award is Friday, Feb. 12th. Those who have earned this award for 5 years in a row will receive a special trophy at Rally.

Each week that ½ of your klubbers say their Memory Verse, you will add a piece to your mobile and receive points toward Klub of the Year. Any klub who puts up at least 75% of the mobile pieces will all receive a small prize.

Klubbers will identify Old Testament locations and bodies of water. (This will be done by a written test for Grades 3rd and up. K-2 will be able to point to each location or body of water. Each one who passes this award will receive a CERTIFICATE at the last klub

In each newsletter, there is a section for the klubbers to fill out and bring back to klub. They earn points for a special treat as well as points for Klub of the Year. Points are based on number of participants for each newsletter (based on average attendance.)

Each klubber will be challenged to learn in order the books of the Old Testament.

They will receive a Banner and points for their klub. These must be learned with NO ERRORS.

This is a special award. This is for the klubbers who wants to put forth extra effort. To earn this award (A Plaque), the klubber will need to learn Deuteronomy 6:5-7 and the TEN COMMANDMENTS. This award will be passed out at Rally. This award may be said in two parts - Deuteronomy 6:5-7 and then all of the Command-ments. Grades K & 1 only have to learn the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Those in Grades 2, 3 and 4 are to learn Deuteronomy 6:5 and the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Fifth grade thru adult must do all of both parts.

ERRORS: K-1: 10 errors; 2nd, 3rd & 4th: 8 errors; 5th - Adult: 7 errors. Anyone who says the passage with 5 or less errors will earn extra points for their klub.

These points can be earned by having any kind of a special event for your klub outside of klub time. It could be skating, bowling, Christmas Caroling, a party, etc. It cannot be in place of your regular klub.

Each klub will receive points for their participants in Memory Verse and Sword Drill (Maximum points - 2750). All Children who compete will receive a ribbon. Trophies will be given for first place and for second place in Memory Verse. Medals and/or ribbons will be given for 2nd - 4th place. Anyone who participates will receive an honorable mention ribbon.

Points will be determined on percentage of children from your klub who participate in
a category based on average attendance. For example, 10 children in your klub said their
books of the Old Testament. Your average attendance is 15. That is ¾ of your klub. ¾ of 3000
points is 2250.
